The kind thinking developed in this book is typical post-colonial propaganda called by a different name and like all propaganda that serves the purpose, it is meant to pacify post-colonial Africans and heal colonial trauma. The author declares his intentions as noble, his book is "for seekers, skeptics, and for those convicted, but especially for the children of African villages." He understands as every African child in the villages, that the only relationship between Alexandria and Lagos is that they are on the same continent hence he fills his book with maps and geographical plottings. It's been done before, and in more shameful ways. The black nationalists used the Egyptian kings. Our theologian uses the Latin Fathers to attempt to bamboozle children in African villages. There's very little comfort in this for an African. This BS needs to stop.
