I teach history and English at a tutorial location in Asheville and recommend The Elements of Style to my students as a book to keep throughout middle school, high school and college (and beyond).
It is a great little guide for making your writing tight, concise and useful.

Should NEVER have been cancelled. I grew up in Miami and wsa familiar with lots of the locations. But the show had great writing and engaging and empathetic characters. Great show.
