Rather than just being an alternative reality type structure it plays with your head and processing abilities to allows humans to interact with lost, loved ones. Thrown into the pot is a love tryst as well as a potentially dishonest best friend and a murder link where the main and most important character can't do anything but advise then rely on those he trusts in the real world to work for him. The murder plot adds the suspense, the obsessive girlfriend adds the romance and the additional characters add lots of humour. I really enjoy it.
