I’ve never watched the original Child’s Play movies, but I thought this was pretty good. I thought the doll was scary, it had good characters, and great kill scenes. My main flaw with this movie however is that Andy’s friends didn’t get much character development, despite have a decent amount of screen time. I highly recommend this as a first horror movie.

This movie was better than Spiderverse, hands down. It had a heart-wrenching plot, the characters were really quirky and unique, and the animation was GORGEOUS. The best part about this movie was the fact that there was no forced product placement, unlike a lot of more recent films! I especially liked Patrick Stewart's role as the poop emoji. His jokes were hilarious! Overall, I highly recommend this for the entire family to watch, and your future grandchildren to watch as well.

The movie was overall pretty decent. I never read the book, so I went into this movie completely blind. I loved the gorgeous animation, amazing voice acting, and overall tone of the movie. My main gripe is that it has too many plots / sub-plots to keep track of. This second complain is more of a nitpick, but I didn't find any of the comedy that great. It wasn't terrible compared to *cough* other films, but it felt kind of bland or forced. Besides that, I overall enjoyed this movie and would still recommend it if you're considering watching it.

This movie was amazing and really impactful. I loved how the camera rarely cut and almost always followed what was going on, and the ending was really impactful. Great soundtrack too!

I really loved this movie. It was really funny, and I'm really proud of Paramount for actually listening to the audience and fixing their old design.

I loved this movie. It was very emotional and portrayed the time period it took place in very well. The ending was so sweet I choked up a little. 10/10 watch this whenever you can. It holds up in 2020 perfectly. I was genuinely surprised this masterpiece was made in 1989.
