The movie won't make you go "Ahhhhh !!!" because it wasn't meant for that. Surely, it's a horror movie but the main purpose was to end the story arc of all the characters involved in IT(see what I did there !!). And let's face it, The book IT is pretty damn long because the depths of each character had to be explored and it did a pretty good job there and that's the reason why the book is a classic. However, when it comes to the movie, this exploration stretched the movie to the point where it felt like "Hey !! I've been watching this movie since a very long time !!" But keeping this aside, all the actors (adults, their young versions and pennywise obviously)did a pretty good job. The comical element was also something which shines out in the movie. Now, the elephant in the room "Was it Scary??" I think my first line explains that pretty well !! It has some jumpscares but just a few. "Should I go for this movie??" I think you should, if you have watched IT and want to know what happened next. Yes !! You should. If that's not the case and you are looking for a horror flick. Choice is yours !! But it's going to be long !! Beware !!
