I thought it was a great movie. If you were finicky about the realism of it about the realism of it (1892 and the have a horseback caravan like that traveling from New Mexico to Montana instead of using a train, with Comanches still on the warpath etc.,) you might have been distracted. But the story was a good one and throughout the Indian Wars there were unspeakable atrocities by both sides with yhose caught up in them undoubtedly carrying the emotional scars so well portrayed by the screen writing and the actors. Good solid show about the Indian Wars from a guy who has read a lot about them.
