Loved this film! One of the most creative films I've ever seen. Very unusual, very artistic, very symbolic and metaphoric. Not for the shallow or faint of heart. Will make you think. Emma Stone deserved the Oscar she won and Mark Ruffalo was wonderful.

Such a magnificent film, breathtaking really. Toni Morrison's writing does not spare anyone's feelings...she is blunt and honest and in your face with the truth. Not an easy film to watch at times, but very very powerful. Oprah, Danny Glover, Thandiwe Newton, Kimberly Elise, Beah Richards...all perfection. Thandiwe was especially remarkable. I can see why this film was not commercially successful, it is way over the heads of most people. Full of symbolism and powerful imagery, it will break your heart for what it exposes about the brutal effects of slavery.

Horrible, grotesque, confusing film...total waste of time and talent. Cannot believe that Jeremy Irons and Elizabeth Moss would stoop to make such a film.

Enjoyed this film immensely. Loved the time travel aspect, loved the scenery and cinematography, loved the diversity of the cast, loved the fact that it was tightly plotted, loved Leslie and Cynthia, Orlando Bloom was good in his role, loved the whole premise. Fascinating.

Brilliant film, suspense galore, tight plot, nothing boring or extraneous, top notch acting by the superb Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst and Oscar Isaac. Loved it, everything about it and the ending was perfection. Forgiveness. Refreshing on every level.

Aaron Paul is the main reason to watch this very poorly done series. He is perfection as usual. He becomes whatever character he is playing. Always believable, intense, compelling, riveting. Octavia Spencer is always good as well, but her character in this is not interesting...the plot was full of holes, too many to mention and took far too long to get to the end. As a who done it, it was very poorly written. Her character, Poppy, was so changeable and uneven, every day she would be convinced of a different person's guilt. It was like who is Poppy's murderer du jour? It was worth it, though, just to see Aaron Paul.

This is a stunningly realistic and brilliant film. It accurately portrays the Pentecostal religious world to a T. Robert Duvall is beyond amazing, he becomes the character of Sonny and never wavers. I agree with Francis Ford Coppola who described Duvall as one of the "4 or 5 greatest actors in the world." He absolutely is.
