Not exactly what I was expecting. I thought it would be more open world with the abilities to go in and out of transformations at will not just battles. Fully destructible environments, able to interact with all npcs, more variety as far as side quest, etc., but it fails at giving any of these. The side quest are really boring, repetitive and lack any real substance or immersion. The combat system in my opinion took a step back from Xenoverse which I really enjoyed. Free roam flying is weird, doesn't let you control flight with the camera but ascending and descending buttons. You do get use to it after awhile, however it still doesn't feel as smooth as say.....Anthem. Although that game is terrible, the flying mechanics is breathtaking, you feel like Iron Man, lol. I digress, pretty much same storyline of course, visually it looks amazing but overall they didn't push the envelope enough to really deliver a true open world DBZ game fitting for this generation of gaming. For me this is a real disappointment given the hardware available nowadays, this game should have been epic. True DBZ fans like myself will still play it and get some enjoyment from it, but from a purely unbiased gamer it's a 2 out of 5. I would recommend waiting for a sale as it is not worth the $60.
