The movie is fun to watch. I like watching Harrison Ford in this movie and Gary Oldman as the bad guy is always a treat. However the entire plot of the movie is based on Harrison Ford refusing to get a ride to an escape pod designed for his survival and safety as POTUS. Instead he wanted to be like John McClane in Die Hard and stopped the bad guys by himself. This plot is just ridiculous to me. If he managed to escape through an escape pod, then the whole movie is meaningless. I guess there's always an element of luck. Just like in the Bond movie "Diamonds Are Forever". James Bond was almost got cremated in the funeral home and clearly there was no way to escape it. But the greed of Mr. Slumber and his associate to find the real diamonds forced them to stop the cremation and James Bond again was saved.

Good action movie but not great. If you haven't seen this movie before and decides to watch it, you may find it confusing why the passengers at the end of the movie were chanting "Woof! Woof! Woof!. This is because passengers confused Wesley Snipes with Arsenio Hall. And if you haven't seen Arsenio Hall Show in TV from 1989 until the middle of 1994 then the more you'll be confused. The Woof! Woof! Woof! chant was what the live audience in the Arsenio Hall Show would chant to Arsenio.

Great movie! I've seen this movie a dozen times and every time I watched this movie it always gives me this eerie feeling because this is prior to 9/11. This is also the only movie that I know that the character played by Steven Seagal got killed which was odd. But I guess there's always something new.
