Very disappointed and disgusted. I was excited to watch this show and follow it but this is not Nancy Drew at all. What a way to disrespect the book, the characters and heart of the series! A sex scene during the first 5 minutes??? They made Ned into a felon??? Nancy blatantly disrespects her dad??? I get that they want to make it modern, but why ruin the essence of what "Nancy Drew" is. You can imply sex but don't slap it to our faces. I am sure the writers and director did not even bother to do a thorough enough research on what Nancy Drew is about and how influential it was to a lot of girls. If you want girl power; sex, sarcasm, disrespect and darkness is not the way to go. Unless they change their storyline, I hope this show doesn't last 4 episodes. They lost the essence of the show.
