This one has become a personal favourite of mine at a time of finishing high school not long ago and Nadine completely relates to my social awkwardness I have sometimes. I found this after watching Bumblebee which also had Hailee Steinfeld. I've watched it 6 times. And keep finding new things in the movie. Hailee does great job creating a funny, relatable and yet mean teen character. And the movie does a nice way of showing that Nadine is not always right while also feeling related to what she says.

I agree with most people that have written a review here. What I love about this movie is the friendship that's built throughout. It's real fun to watch and laugh at their banter. They also showed their great care for each other in their friendship and it's heartwarming for anybody. I was smiling a lot throughout the movie for these guys. This movie also gave me the quickest emotional reaction from any movie for one particular rain-argument scene. Mahershala Ali delivered that scene so exquisitely for me about his experiences with hardships of racism of that era which I think people can relate to not just with racism but with loneliness too. Also bonus that it has a Christmas ending, so it'll be a nice treat to watch alone or with someone close to you during the holidays.

My favourite comic, superhero and Spiderman movie. Characters, music, story, visually are all spot on. I was smiling throughout the whole movie. Anybody can watch this and feel related to any of the characters. And this comes the studio that made Emoji movie and Venom, plus all the other Spiderman movies. Also I think somebody talks to Miles at the which I didn't catch the first time (watched it twice in cinemas but would've loved to watch it even more, just like everybody else is saying). Hopefully the sequel continues the same type of work and passion. If it goes beyond I'll be starstruck.

I don't watch much Netflix Originals but this is really great (along with Daredevil). Characters, music and story is superb. All the characters were developed (except maybe one), and the actors were very fun and relatable to watch. Music chosen was great for almost every type of scene for whatever tone was present. Story is a bit cliche but it's really entertaining to watch still. The episodes never felt slow to me. Humour is a bit dark but typical for a teen story. However every character you meet all have humour differences from one another and clash one with another well too. I would say this is a must watch for anybody to watch. It covers many relevant topics around sex and I would feel that it would be timeless for everybody (unless you're not into teen drama). Everything discussed above is why this is one of my favourite teen stories (other than The Edge of Seventeen and The Breakfast Club). Hopefully another season will be in the making soon. Especially after that ending.

Classic story remake made even better for the newer generation! I loved the phenomenal classic and new music in this! All music moments audibly stay true to the classic and visually with the performance or CGI look great. I forgotten about the story since I've been all grown up and is a great story still. There is a lot of CGI but like other Disney owned movies, they are great as long as you like CGI. All the sets and performances are stellar. Before watching this movie I thought that the story was going to be a cliche when watching the movie and although I vaguely know the story already, it is still an enjoyable story. The best thing for me was the performances and music especially since I've been in interested in film scores and music lately. The classic film is the one I prefer just because I grew up with it but this one is just as worthy of it being great remake of a classic story.
