While yes the gameplay is better than the previous 3 games, I do feel the responsiveness of the game is a downgrade, while yes it is somewhat easy to score this year than last years game, it does mean that the score lines can be downright ridiculous, I have put well over 40 hours into the game, and I can say, most online matches either end 3 - 1, or 7 - 5, the game is littered with inconsistencies such as the scoring, the lag, and the passing. Problems that could be fixed with a patch being caught on counter attacks again and again and again, (Especially from corners) Pace still being a bit too overpowered, more so on defenders than attackers The passing, (while yes the passes actually go where you want them to go unlike Fifa 20) still does not feel right, it feels very heavy to me and not at all realistic And finally the menus, they are extremely laggy, now yes, if I had to choose between laggy menus and laggy gameplay, I would choose the menus, but that’s not the point, lag should not be part of a very competitive game. I went into this game with very low expectations, and yes, it exceeded those expectations, it it still not as good as previous Fifa games, wait for a price drop before you buy it, but let’s face it, you probably already have brought it
