The story line had too many twist and turns. Hellboy look wasn't the same. Yeah the character had the same scene of humor. But the whole look of him changed. The teeth, hair, horns. David Kenneth Harbour did a good job playing Hellboy. But the screenplay was just HORRIBLE!!! I wound NOT recommend this movie it to anyone. The Death of Hellboy's father didn't follow the previous Hellboy or Hellboy II. My boyfriend who had never seen Hellboy, had watched both days prior to watching Hellboy and was amped up to watch Hellboy 2019. He had said the same thing " the screenplay had to many far fetched angles"
