I'd read plenty about this show before watching. It seems a lot of SAS people past and present are fans judging by comments from relatives of these men and people with contacts. Some also do not like the approach to the story. You can't please everyone.
Their opinions and approval made me watch it and I wasn't disappointed.

Classy. Well acted. Well directed. Atmospheric. Everything I wanted this incredible real life story to be.
