Love this series .. but noticed a mistake ... Mccaulty .. on a trek in the snow with Charlie and Declan Harp referred to the cold as 'freezing balls off brass monkeys' ... The series in based in 1700's fur trade ... But the term referring to brass monkeys is believed to originate from the brass trays (called monkeys) holding canon ball in the Napoleonic wars, which would freeze and cause the balls to roll off. Napoleonic Wars didn't start till 1805 .... So the phrase didn't exist yet xx
