Went to see this movie with a 12-year-old and a 15-year-old. The opening sequence wasn’t the strongest, but after that we were all hooked. The blend of different animation styles was very successful, especially the ‘anime’ style. The plot was captivating, the characters were all well rounded and developed and the script was spot on. Scary bits, tense action, lots of humour and a brisk pace - we all loved it! Loads of references to other movies/franchises/novels and fairy tails. Puss in Boots the Last Wish felt like a part of a ‘fairy tale universe’. Highly recommended.

Psychologically intense, play-like. A worthy addition to the Diana Film canon. Enjoyably fictional and absorbing.

Horribly captivating, and unsettling viewing. IMO domestic violence taken to a new level - through psychological control. The family and friends of the victims should be applauded for their refusal to give up on their loved ones. Incredible that someone is so motivated to control others, literally like a puppet master. The lesson learnt? Do not give up on people you love who may be or are at risk!
