It was an amazing show overall. The 1st season was okay and didn't hook me, but I was so bored over quarantine and had nothing good to watch, that I decided to give it another try, and that's what I did. After Season 1, I honestly loved the show and did nothing else than watch it. Season 1 and 8 were not the best, but that was because of Steve Carell leaving, but Ed Helms and Rainn Wilson managed to keep the show alive. My favorite part in season 8 was when Andy made David Wallace invest in Dunder Mifflin and he comes back as Regional Manager, though he totally becomes insane in Season 9. I loved the show more than anything in the world, it brought comedy in this tough pandemic. I can't imagine any other cast members playing these roles.
However, what makes this show amazing isn't just the comedy, but the character growth in the show. For example, Dwight is an ignorant yet funny and astute character. How he changes by season 9 to someone we all respect is something that makes this show memorable. This could be said for Jim and Pam's relationship. They are shown as the perfect couple, but Season 9 shows that every relationship has it's up and down, and it's up to you to take control of what's important in your life. I think if I ever have a girlfriend in my life, I would be the best person I can be in front of them and treat them like they are the only girl in the world who matters to me, and Jim and Pam's relationship in the show taught me that.
I am really going to miss binge-watching this show on Netflix. For those who didn't like this, I would recommend watching this with an open mind, and giving it a second chance. I learned a lot in this show that changed me to be a better person.
