Death Note was out of this world masterpiece. The storyline was very original and you cannot predict what will happen next. The characters were way too different from other cliche animes’ protagonist. Though I’m kinda dissapointed on how it ends. Those kids who defeated Light was indeniably less intelligent than “L”, the tactics used to defeat the Kira was too lame and very predictable (It feels like the writer has ran out of clever ideas). They were just telling the obvious that even the viewer could guess, also they had no concrete plan at all unlike on how “L” dealt with Kira, but yet Kira was defeated and died. Light was able to overcome harder traps than Near and Mello had set up that’s why I was not satisfied on how Kira died. If the Light on the first 15 eps was on that situation he could’ve figured out a plan B in case the plan A fails. That’s how Light was established from the very beginning. However, this anime was mind blowing indeed and I didn’t regret that I’ve watched it twice already. 😀👌
