The movie is very flat. In terms of animation, character, fights....it's all flat. - There is no weight to any of the animation. It's all flat. Almost seems unfinished. Like the animators rendered the whole movie and thought, "Oops. We forgot to add any inchoations to the characters. Well no going back now". -Mewtwo lol. He has no character at all apart from saying something portentous like, "Who am I? What am I?" - This plot is dangerously boring. It doesn't create any tension at the beginning of the movie. And oh my god the exposition. It might as well be a radio show if I didn't know any better. - The music...the theme song made me want to slap myself. Only good thing about this movie is the character faces are quite expressive sometimes. I didn't expect that from a movie whose animation is mediocre. Don't waste your time. Go watch the original.
