I love this game. I have been playing since the beginning on console, took a few seasons off, and switched to PC- where I have been playing ever since. This is literally my favorite game, so why am I giving it a 3 star? I'm giving it 3 stars because Ubi continues to allow players to be toxic / smurf / rank drop / boost / server hopping. Not only this, but their rank match making is completely broken. I'm high gold, I don't really consider myself a plat player quite yet, as I need to learn the game and work on my aim still. But, when I get matched against plat 1s, a rank dropping copper 4, and smurfs, it makes the gaming experience a lot less fun and makes me not even want to play the game anymore. Ubi needs to do something about this. I understand they're implementing a system where you need to be within a 1000 MMR next season but I think this will just increase smurf accounts. We'll see- if it is anything like this season (Phantom Sight) I may be giving this game up for something else. I would love to progress and continue to grind this game out but it seems to be pointless when I get matched against players well above my skill level who destroy my team and me and then continue to talk smack. Its actually sad that people do this and ruin the game for others. Other than that, i really do love this game, there are some hiccups here and there with bugs and glitches- but what game doesn't? I just hope Ubi decides to really fix their matchmaking system and commit to fixing the problems I stated above.
