What a disappointment! I'm normally at the bookshop on day one to buy a new Jack Reacher book and bought this one as soon as it came out. Reading this one is like wading through treacle...it's a chore...I only get a few pages read each night before going to sleep because it is just too boring. If each new one from now on is now going to be written by the original author and his brother (and I would suspect that Lee had precious little to do with this one), I'll be very cautious before buying the next one and will probably be reading a few reviews first - if they are on a par with the Sentinel, I won't be buying it.
