It is difficult to remake something that has been done so many times but this was a unique and refreshing take on Romeo and Juliet. I went in being skeptical but was pleasantly surprised by the end of the film. The acting was powerful and viewing the story of Romeo and Juliet through a different lens was genius. The soundtrack and editing of the film was amazing. The story of Romeo and Juliet is timeless and this is a great way to bring the story to the next generation.
