I was actually looking forward to this album, it actually sounded better on youtube than on Vinyl. The album consists of the usual over-compressed modern metal sound that sounds too clinical, with little to no feel. The guitar actually sounds like it was D.I in to the desk, drums are too loud in the mix, while rhythm guitars are far too quiet. The album is a bit of a shocker, none of the guitar solos stayed very close to the originals and although i know he needs to put his own stamp on the recordings, he should have stamped rather than trampled all over them. Very disappointing and i would not recommend this album as it is a waste of £27.

Do these judges really know what they’re talking about?. When watching I always pic the one I wouldn’t usually pic and hey presto! They select it for a finalist position, modern art judging at its finest. Anyone that paints or draws with a realist style, completes their art too quickly or is possibly a better artist than the judges appears to automatically get relegated to the bottom of the pile. I’ve lost my faith in the show....it is what it is, another directed reality program that is a simply...excrement.
