I absolutely loved the book series but was incredibly disappointed when I watched the movie. I understand that to adapt a book into movies you might change things to cut down on screen time, however the changes they made were too severe, unnecessary and made the movie down right terrible. They changed the personality of almost every character and changed like 90% of the plot. Not to mention the acting was cringe worthy and disappointing. I recommend trying to remove this movie from your memory and just reading the books, they are by far better.
