Let me start by saying there is a rating at the open of the show to tell you what to expect, so why are you acting so surprised about the content... unless you're slow and don't understand the rating system.
2nd, for those saying this is unrealistic (bc they're black) Google "Nature Boy" "Eligio Bishop" "Melonation" or "CarbonNation" and tell me black sex cults don't exist in 2020.
Now in regards to the show itself, while it IS kinda jolting to see this type of content from Tyler Perry, I certainly respect his attempts to branch out from comedy. The story lines are a bit spastic, but it's not incredibly hard to follow. It's just exciting enough to keep you engrossed (IMO). Overall, I enjoyed it, but I did take off 1 star for the writing. Mr. Perry is known for giving black actors a chance in this industry. I feel he should extend that same olive branch to black writers as well.
