The five stars are for the acting, the themes, the struggle of justice against injustice, bravery, sacrifice and loyalty, and the fantastic insight into history, culture and traditions. The women are beautiful too!
But, there are so many portrayals of Christianity as "the devil" and holy water as "poison", and everything related to Christianity as evil, that it somewhat spoils the show...but not to the extent that I will stop watching it. Both Christianity and Islam have their evils, and to ignore your own face in the mirror is hypocritical.
But, it's a fantastic show. I just wish people around the world would cooperate and collaborate, rather than, as the Shah says, "fight for world dominance". But, I suppose my suggestion is completely naive and simplistic. There is greed, power, mental instability, resource imbalance, racism, historical grievances, inferiority complexes etc. etc....ah well...better keep sharpening my blade, to defend myself against strangers who associate some or other attribute that they hate to me, because of the way I look and the language I speak.
