One of the finest examples of Native American history you will ever read. Every institution of higher learning in America boasts have a historian who specializes in the genre. How did they miss this tale is anyone's guess. Obviously, these historians are more interested in their tenured track position than in writing the kind of history David Grann writes. Superb history as it should be written. Wonder who Martin Scorsese is going to cast to play the part of Tom White? The film "Killers of the Flower Moon" should be special.
