Excellent acting! Great writing! The show touches on many topics and not just pertaining to the world of strippers. For adults eyes only because the sex scenes are very realistic! J Alphonse Nicholson deserves an Emmy award nomination for his portrayal of Lil Murda! This show is 10 times better than that other show on BET+. Bravo Katori Hall! 👏🏾

The only reason women are rating this show 5 stars is because of naked men. 😄 The acting is horrible but Tyler Perry knows his audience so he runs with it. Great on looks but lacking on real acting skills and the writing is so amateurish. Again Tyler Perry knows his audience so it works for them.

Watching this miniseries took me on an emotional rollercoaster. Episode 4 was tough to watch. One of the best movies I ever watched. Jharrel Jerome put on a brilliant out of this world performance as Korey Wise. This is Ava Duverney's best work by far! Emmy nominations abound for this TV movie!
