This may be my family's most favorite, and classic, movie ever. Imagine cheesy, swashbuckling, romantic and top-ten-quotable/quirky humor all rolled together in something that (I would say) is in its own genre.
I feel like this movie may be one of the only proper on-screen fairy tales ever.
If you haven't seen it yet, and have the time during quarantine (hopefully this review will date quickly), I think I might just recommend it.
It's super quirky and was made in the late 1980s. Please don't watch it wrong, and expect it to be ordinary or like anything else you've seen. Princess Bride stands alone.
