The show is, honestly, pretty bland and uninteresting, and at times, annoying. The main reason why this show doesn't exactly tickle my fancy is because of the titular characters, Apple and Onion. These characters are, lack of a better word, just plain unintelligent and oblivious when their actions have consequences on other people. One episode, they're trying to keep their landlord, Falafel from leaving the country so they can still live in his apartment building for free. This leads to them making the landlord's day horrible and ends with them using the guy's credit card for several expensive objects, essentially putting him in debt. Thankfully, they realize they screwed up and try to fix what they messed up by getting jobs to pay off the debt, but that's kinda the issue here. Most of the things that Apple and Onion mess up are the simplest of objectives or the most obvious of solutions that it actually gets a bit annoying to see them make obvious mistakes and realize too late that they screwed over other people who were either just trying to do their jobs or try to enjoy their day. Of course, this show isn't actually the worst. The titular characters, while a bit oblivious, can be entertaining in the right circumstances or when they're just messing around with friends. Supporting characters, such as Chicken Nugget, Falafel, Cotton Candy, and Hamburger are pretty likable and entertaining in their own right. The show's not bad, but there's room for improvement.
