I really liked this series and I lean more to the left-politically speaking. I'm not sure why critics disliked it. Yeah I mean there is the fact that it moves in line with most movies of this genre: hyper masculine warrior comes home to find family slaughtered and goes on vengeful binge but honestly I like those kinds of movies. Chris Pratt did an exceptional job and the twist at the end was unexpected. Critics suck sometimes but this movie was entertaining to me.

Contrived unbelievable dialogue mixed with vapid acting and a limitless supply of "really???" moments make this another waste of time. If you have nothing else to do then at least you can pass the time or fall asleep watching an episode

Could have been finished in six episodes if they had cut out all the ridiculous screaming. I've never seen a bunch of hardened criminals who could not shoot somebody in the head. If you like zombie movies this was just a bunch of dumb fun but nothing I would ever watch again or consider to be on par with the likes of 28 Days etc.
