This movie made me angry. We have enough negative stereotypes of black teens and this lends fire to the biases of how white Americans see people of color. The white folks ride in to save the day and look how ungrateful the black boy is...this is the perception. In this age of divisiveness this movie is not helping to bridge the gap but it was never meant to, was it!?
