Just completed the game. The game was solid overall. Both the story and the characters were really enticing. I certainly was one of the people who couldn't put the controller down.
When I first played Red Dead Redemption, I didn't know about the existence of fast travel in the game until I had finished 75% of the game. I enjoyed riding the horse to go anywhere, and that's the similar feeling I got with Days Gone. The controls got a bit funky after the bike got suped up, but still made the ride exciting. I only fast traveled in Days Gone just a handful of times because of the joy of riding and the beautiful sceneries.
This game is definitely user-friendly. The guns felt unique for each type and they were easy to shoot. I liked that the studio didn't take the Rockstar pull&press aim approach and stuck with the orthodox aim and shoot. The story-line is set well so that you'll get the hang of the necessary item usages.
Not the best but definitely a solid game.
