The Lost Causes of Bleak Creek is full of all the turmoil and angst that you would expect from teenagers overcoming adult oppressors. Written in a way to give you the rush of fear, sadness, grief and joy along with the characters. A story that makes you fall in love with the main characters and then tears them away from you. I could not put it down, and will be eagerly awaiting a sequel as it was quite an open ending. Very well written, and absolutely an emotional roller coaster.
