The movie could have been a lot better if TP would have taken the time to develop the story and characters. Because he failed to do so, it was difficult to care about what happened to any of them. It’s unfortunate because it was a waste of good talent. This movie was nowhere near ready for release. Everything about it was random, including the sex scenes which took place in some random basement. Smh What happened to Miss Mississippi and the detective who was assisting Kelly Rowland and so many other questions left unanswered. 2 hours wasted watching it.

Don’t like that they are trying so hard to copy “This Is Us”. The writers missed a great opportunity to be original. The cast is good but the writing lacks authenticity. The storyline fails to connect the lives of the characters with the audience. The girl with cancer seems like some random character. We don’t really know her enough to care etc. same thing with Delilah. This kind of disconnect is consistent throughout the show and causes the show to fall flat. In short, it lacks cohesiveness.
