What an awesome debut! Mind-blowing and mind-boggling in true sense. After reading Ashwin Sanghi and Amish Tripathy and Kevin Missal and Christopher Doyle and all the established mythological fiction writers, I have never thought that a newcomer will compete with them neck-to-neck for me. Kudos to the author.
Now, coming to the story..It revolves around the protagonist, Manu, who is a young man in his twenties. He has deep fascination about Indian mythology and ancient history and scriptures. One day a character from Mahabharata enters into his life and takes him through to the ancient age. And Manu encounters Kalki, the last avatar of Lord Vishnu. The story travels through many mythological events and characters like Ram, Sita, Ashwathama, Ashoka.
The book will impress you in every way possible. The writing is lucid and intellectual. The story is intriguing and informative. The set-up is impressive beyond words.
I can't recommend enough.
Must read.
