This show has fantastic animation, that's why it gets two stars. Other than that, the storyline is very weak and riddled with plot holes. Most of this is unrealistic. For example, VI, an ex-con from the undercity released from prison via a forged signature of Jayce's (something that should have raised red flags in itself), just happens to walk in on him. Jayce is one of the city's top concuilors- how does she suddenly get access to him and know where he is, they have no prior relationship. He gives a weapon to (top-of-the-line tech, not even yet approved for their military) someone he doesn't know from the undercity. Then once their relationship turns sour, and Jayce wants the weapon back, all VI has to say is 'make me,' and he backs down like a punk. Instead of having the well-positioned armed soldiers make her (realistically? blow her head off). There are a handful of issues like this in every episode. Weirdly, Arcane has gotten such high reviews. But this is the era we a living in; superb animation and graphics trump plot strength.
