I really love the idea of this movie. A Classic black love story set in the 60s. That alone makes it hard for me to criticize it because we just don’t get enough of this type of black cinema. However, It could of been soooo much better. Don’t get me wrong It was a great watch but the ending was anticlimatic and left me so unsatisfied. The movie went off and I was like that’s it? The characters was under developed, and I felt like scenes were left out the movie that needed to be seen, like her family finding out about the pregnancy. With that being said I still liked it, I just really wanted it to be better.
