When I first started to work in security, one of my first jobs ever was working on this movie while they were filming it outside of Boston. I got to meet DiCaprio and chat with him on and of a few times and other actors in the film. Being able to be all over the movie sets at night when they weren't filming was quite the experience to say the least. Having read the book & and being there while they were filming was a much different experience. I was a little let down after the movie was delayed several times but it was cool to see how they make a movie in Hollywood up close and then put a project like that onto the big screen. As usual it was beautifully directed & there wasn't really anything wrong with the movie other than the writing being a kind of weak and if you're smart it's an easy puzzle to figure out. If you like a decent thriller, give this one a shot. Fun movie to waist 2 hours on a lazy day.

It was fun.... all sizzle & no steak though. The acting was good but would of enjoyed some more character development especially how Lydia actually communicates with ghosts & the dead and it could of been more fun having more communication with spirits than it did with the main cast. Felt rushed and a little unorganized but overall a fun movie. Really makes you appreciate the 1st one so much more! Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice beetle.....

My girlfriend got me into watching Sailor Moon. Although very long and repetitive at times, the 90's anime is a very well done series (for the most part) and even moving at times, especially at the end of the 1st series. After we watched Cosmo's, we both felt this was beautifully animated, it really didn't make any sense and the dialog was terrible. The ending reminded me of Return of the King: Lord of the Rings, where it just kept going and going and going and blah blah blah.... no real action in this movie. What a shame. Two stars for the animation. The rest is crap. I feel sorry for Sailor Moon and her crew for this so called send off.

This movie is misleading. This movie shouldn't of been called The Sword in the Stone. It should of been called The Adventures of Arthur & Merlin. The animation was good, but the story doesn't really go any where. There's no real character development other than Arthur learning about nature, and how only the strong survive, getting transformed into different animals. This really didn't have anything at all to do with the King Arthur legend we all know the whole movie never mentions the story only in a quick song in the beginning and at the end, sandwiched in-between is your usual Disney animal/magic filler. The wolf in the beginning was funny as was Archinedes the Owl laughing at Merlin's plane "sinking like a rock!" I'd rather go to Bermuda than ever watch this again. Shame cause Disney could of really made something special here about Arthur maturing and learning to become King and having to pull the sword out at the end. Oh well, I don't own an animation studio nor can I really illustrate. But it could of been so much more.

I'll stick to the original trilogy. And if I had to I'd rather watch Kingdom of the Crystal Skull again. Although I gotta hand it to Mads Mikkelsen. He made the movie entertaining. He deserves an Oscar for keeping this hot mess watchable.

Could of been a much better movie. But with so many flaws in the story and sequences it got very silly. It would be more entertaining if you pressed fast forward and listened to the Benny Hill theme Yakity Sax. Both actors have done much higher quality work than this movie. This to me felt like a quick paycheck for them. I really don't understand the high remarks this film makes.

The writing for Red Dwarf is unfortunately getting very poor. With time comes age and they're showing it. Red Dwarf is my favorite series but "Red Dwarf: The Promised Land" is dry & uninspired. As a die hard smeghead fan of the series they should of left it alone at series 10. To many dumb cat jokes that fail to deliver. Does Doug Naylor think we're 5 years old here? Maybe I'm growing up but, I still love series 1 thru 10. Even Back To Earth was better written than this poor 2nd rate litter box of bad jokes. Even the "touching monent" wasn't right. And the cat although selfish has never been cruel. It's sad when people don't know when to call it quitts. And, as a life long fan of the show, I wish that red trash can with 3 million years on the clock & no breaks would fly off into the sunset but, I guess in space... there is no sunset....
