The way that people part of marginalized groups were stereotyped and portrayed to be somehow lesser in intellect than the rest of the characters made it almost impossible to finish this book, but considering I spent money on this godforsaken novel I forced myself to finish the read. Then I was met with a most disappointing ending that could’ve occurred about 200 pages earlier.
