Their was factual inaccuracy in the movie which is altered by reality. In the scene featuring the psychiatrist challenging the genius as he says "if you say another word about my wife, I will end you", in real life, the "therapist" ended him. He was given an " I think I see something in your eye" lobotomy. In the time depicted psychiatrists always lobotomized anyone who challenged them; they always lobotomized geniuses and psychics regardless. The "genius" character is depicted as becoming grounded. Indeed.
