Da 5 Bloods Netflix, my Friday night movie, offered an interesting clash of emotion, honor, strength, fear, pain, confusion, dedication, family, and brotherhood. A great cast that gave us peek into aspects of Black Vietnam veterans war/postwar experience. While the story-line has some predictable elements, for some reason, I was left with a sense of seeds of understanding. And as you already know, Spike has never shied away from complex racial injustices and in his gritty-to-the-core fashion, for me...Da 5 Bloods did not disappoint.
