This is a very quirky film has lots of excellent gags, but which didn't quite have the smallish audience for the wet Monday early evening screening as part of the 2022 Sydney French Film Festival guffouring out loud in their seats. For myself I was quietly laughing constantly for most of the film. It reminded me of what in my view is a classic, the Spanish film "Unconscious", in the way is was visually appealing, witty, and the characters larger than life playing almost as a theatre piece. What also set this comedy apart is the very clever story referencing psychology and therapy that has now become almost mainstream making it very easy to relate to despite the surreal settings.
So whilst not everybody's cup of tea, it certainly appealed to my sense of humour and play.
