It’s brilliant tongue in cheek, quirks, right amount of funny with simply developed characters, very easy watch and Pratchett humour updated for this generation. Really surprised at the low rating on here.

This could have been an important film, it misses the dimension to pull you into the characters and care. A difficult subject for it’s time originally in 1968, but no humour or depth to bring it to 2020.

Keep trying to watch it as Love the books & genre in general. Dracula needs real screen presence, - just can’t get passed his smarmy ‘Acting’& boring English accent sounds like he’s about to sell you insurance, and the over use of gore. Totally unnecessary. You don’t expect great acting in dr who it’s kind of tongue in check but this takes the biscuit & is uncomfortable to watch. So I won’t keep persevering. Probably targeted for the teen and gay audience.

A complete Original in the current superhero franchises. Darkly compelling, with an eerie edge & Juxta position of current rich, poor divide, a wry focus on mental health & funding and it’s devastating neglect in society & the hypocrisy between social norms and supports, or lack there of. The brutality of the film is necessary to knock the apathy of the viewer into paying attention. Like Taxi Driver, this film will be watched again for generations sitting deservedly in its future cult status.
