I have just finished watching this movie tonight on Sky. Now I love Antonio Banderas and JRM ...two beautiful men and I was enjoying the film with some reservations until the last minute.....WHAT....all a dream!! I'm sorry that ruined the whole film for me. The first twist was acceptable but those last few seconds were ridiculous. Should have ended it when JRM walked out of the room.

Very disappointing. Way too much creepy music and long lingering looks and dark corridors. I guess the black bile was an allegory for the evils the Dutch had done in the past but didn't understand what the society hoped to achieve. Too slow with meaningless characters.
