Great all around show well made sticks to the storyline from the book my only issue was that of casting Percy the son of Poseidon is too shrimpy riptide is too small as well side note Anabeth the grey eyed Auburn haired daughter of Athena is for some reason now black and god damnit I love Lance Reddick John wick amazing resident evil masterful but Zeus should be buff with a thunderous voice not lean built and clever that said Grover was well cast as well as Chiron and Dionysus Luke was meh and Hermes was meh and Hades and Ares where very OK choices honestly if I where to guess based on what happened I could only imagine there where two different casting directors one was focused on picking the perfect people to play each part and the other was entirely focused on diversity instead of picking people that fit their description in the books

It was one of the worst movies I've probably ever thought I was excited to watch it just starts with a buildup to what could be a really cool thought and then turns into one barely worth watching plotline about a random monster that gets no explanation, and the other being the most stupid thing Ive ever heard in order to escape her abusive husband during WW2 she forgets orders and steals a uniform to get onto a plane to... somewhere?

This was a fantasticly put together film that while touching on very touchy subjects did not seem to take anything out of the intended context.... until the very end... to disagree with white supremists and racism is moral and good, but to portray these acts as being the norm for Americans today, and to furthermore make anti-American suggestions I will not stand for. What unites us all whether we be Black Asian or in my case Native American and German is that we are all Americans and to spit on that after all the struggles and mistakes and advancements how far we've come and where we are now in favor of bringing up old battles is both backwards and wrong. We study history so as NOT to repeat it not to drag it into the present. Martin Luther King Jr.s dream was that we would have a society wherein people where judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character, and in that spirit the depiction of all of our flag the American flag in any way that is not proper shows the content of the makers character to be lacking. I support the right to free speech and freedom of expression I even signed the dotted line to defend it, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with it, I do however exercise my own freedoms to express my disagreement with it.

I had never heard of this film before, saw a clip on YouTube about the 9/11 joke thought it was pretty funny got on Amazon prime watched it, and I just kept waiting for it to be even a little lighthearted or funny but outside of a few ok jokes it was just sad and depressing and then at the end we just get a scene where she comes to watch his comedy show and that's the end? I could also just maybe watch a bag of puppies be hit with a stick for two hours but like hey surprise ending the bag twitched a little there so maybe it turned out not as sad by a very small margin all told i gave the movie three stars because i do think that for the right audience it would probably be an ok movie but it honestly isn't even as funny as a solid percentage of non-comedy movies

I give it four stars but with an astrix. I need to state first and foremost that I am a German speaker and have greatly enjoyed many of Quentin Tarantinos films which the director of this film clearly did as well. All in all between the slightly outlandish plot, the scarred twisted villain, and the above average level of violence across the board, I'd say that if you also speak German and or don't mind reading subtitles and liked Quentin Tarantinos work you'd probably enjoy this movie to a decent degree wouldn't say one of the all time greats but I definitely wouldn't tell anyone they're wasting their time watching it.

It's delightfully... wierd... I mean there's almost no way to describe the show that properly encompasses the diverse moods that the show brings to the table. It's sad, it's darkly funny, and the story isn't quite like anything I've watched so far. The story is a five star, the casting is a 4 for me my only complaint has to do with the fact that the show doesn't feel as well funded as I feel like the story deserved all in all a really great show but not quite what it could have been if the producers had understood the tasteful minority of fans that actually appreciate a new story with a new angle that Hollywood hasn't already beaten to death

Excellent film a very rare thing to find as very few sci-fi films get this level of effort between the cast, the acting by the cast as ive seen the actors in several other movies and you could tell on their part work was put in, the story line was something fresh and new for the most part but i mean at this point it was about as fresh and new as the imagination can get I mean in 2020 theyve pretty mich made a movie about everything, the CGI fit seamlessly with live action which is a big thing you dont see much in sci-fi because for one a lot has to go into that type of visual work especially in sci-fi and for twosies anymore movies try too much to push some kind of agenda whereas with this I honestly just felt like they cut it out and tried making a good movie I mean there was honestly no part of it I didnt like and id love to see the same team behind this film make an SCP movie because I honestly think they have what it takes to really bring such a universe to life in a proper way and as a foundation fan id kill to see something along those lines after having personally read all the one star rating ive noted that several seem to have a problem with the fact that it was five females sent in as like the world's last hope and seem to feel that it was forced and trust me as someone who's seen films ruined by forcing gender or sexual orientation into a movie and this film didnt ruin a thing by it if there was any level of that on the part of the film makers I must say bravo as they definetly included such characters the proper way and it didnt feel forced into the movie at all definetly very natural you really just saw the characters as people not gay people and not women but just people and I wish more movies could do that properly on another note the rest of the poor reviews seemed to stem from a lack of following of the story which is understandable to a degree in the first 20 to 30 minutes of the film but if you really pay attention and follow it you'll love it all the more for the same reason the last subject of the bad reviews was the absolute need for every single part of the movie to make perfect sense scientifically seems as though not only are they forgeting the second half of science fiction is FICTION but part of the story line is that it doesnt make sense scientifically the five main characters are literally people who practice different sciences trying to make sense of it and saying it doesn't and trying to make sense of the fact that white phosphorus killed it? Its not hard to understand that it whatever the thing was was trying to mimic things in a way and began to mimic the fire and as such it burned itself completely to ash as fire tends to do
