I was hooked at the start, but then it drags on for a bit. There are bits of suspense that keep you reading, but then nothing happens, and the suspense falls flat. The ending was disappointing. So basically, the premise introduced in the beginning is great, but the rest does not deliver what the reader may feel they were promised with such an intriguing start. I also tend to agree with another reviewer who said this was written with the hopes of a movie deal.
