I must admit, I was expecting more. I wasn’t tooo impressed. I had seen Cynthia Erivos interpretation and was blown away considering I had reservations about her portraying Aretha. She redeemed herself however as I watched her warm up and embody Missssss Franklin. I favor hers because it was 6 series that gave more insight into not just her but her siblings/ Parents background as well. The movie with Jennifer skipped ahead but I was able to fill in the pieces. Costumes/ hair was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Marlon Wayans was sexxy and was really good in this role … Jennifer Rocked this role encompassing Miss Franklins Posture/walk etc. I felt like it was a big stretch for her acting wise and she did her best ☝️Good job
