I loved this film. Yes, it’s not a easy Friday night viewing. It takes you inside a troubled life, real and imagined. It’s dark and very sad and it makes you think afterwards. I felt I needed to join the dots, go through a nightmarish maze of Jake’s wasted life to make some sense. If you don’t like thinking much and is afraid of the dark, don’t watch it as you are unlikely to enjoy it.
