An excellent film from Peele that establishes his genius in storytelling and attention to detail. The plot line was superb and I suspect the many reviews talking about "holes" in the plot aren't really clear on what the director was trying to accomplish. Every detail is not spelled out for the viewer, leaving much open to interpretation. There is a paranormal aspect that is left unexplained because he wants you to walk away questioning what it means to be "tethered" to a sinister, or perhaps misunderstood, version of yourself. If you like your movies to do all the work for you and explain every detail, you probably will be disappointed here. This is meant to be a challenging film that pushes the audience to engage and establish some fun theories.
